Nihilus is a Bangalore based technical death metal band.

Logo Design

The Inspiration for the logo are from the metal bands killer of gods, obscura, infernal damnation, burning empires to name a few.

Nihilus logo is an Ambigram (Ambigrams are a particularly complex type of typographical art that can be read identically in different orientations. They typically take the form of a word that reads the same way upside down as it does right side up.) The letters 'N' and 'S' were mirrored to balance the logo. Few concept variations of the it are available to view.

Album Artwork

As per the client's requirement, this custom tailored A3 size artwork was executed in Adobe Photoshop. The concept behind this is space debris/junk. The materials left floating in space after past space missions and how the problem is getting worse every day. These include nonfunctional spacecraft, abandoned launch vehicle stages, mission-related debris and fragmentation debris and how they pose a threat to future space missions.
